I just fell in love with the beautiful integration of 2D and 3D elements, the characters, and solid gameplay. Any way you cut it the game has an ever so slight learning curve as it goes away from the traditional platforming actions like jumping on enemies or punching them, no this time you grab them and then throw them at other enemies, eggs, and blocks. It’s funny though as it has two games and yet I found myself enjoying the first older game a lot more than the newer more modern one? I can’t quite put my finger on it but the visuals are slightly different and I did go with the oldest first.
